I love aerial stuff - and I really relate to the technical hurdles. I could bend your ear for hours with anecdotes about my experiences in developing "The Crossing" - the last major dance production my company Gnosis did. For instance, the time one of our dancers did a facedown swan dive onto the studio floor from about 12 feet up when the rigging failed! Ouch! Praise the deities she only sprained her wrist.

We also came up with some novel approaches to getting the dancers up and down in real time and transporting Elle over the audience I love aerial stuff, but I don't know if I'd ever want to do it again. Such stress!

I hope I can figure out a way to get up to NYC to see this.

Check out the Youtube clips "The Crossing pt 1,2,3,&4" Not completely pleased with the way it all came out, but would I ever be?
